After a thorough evaluation by national and international experts, the jury awarded a total of 419 medals, of which 35 in the category of Great Gold, 103 of Gold and 281 of Silver. The most awarded region was the Douro, which reached a total of 12 medals, followed by the regions of D\u00e3o and Alentejo. The winners received the prizes at the Awards Ceremony of the Wines of Portugal Challenge, which took place, in a digital format, this past Friday night, May 21st, Live from the \u201cConvento de Jesus\u201d, in Set\u00fabal. The higher awards of the Wines of Portugal Challenge, which distinguished the best among the 35 wines awarded with Great Gold Medal, were: Best Wine of the year Quinta Vale D.
