The wine Periquita Reserve 2016 red from the winemaker Jos\u00e9 Maria da Fonseca won the most honorable award in competition, the Diamond Trophy. The Wines of Portugal obtained 8 Double Gold medals, 43 Gold medals and 25 Silver medals. The Sakura Japan Women&#8217;s Wine Awards, the largest wine competition in Japan, is an international wine challenge whose panel of judges is composed exclusively of female wine experts (sommeliers, chefs, wine journalists and trade).
