Julia Harding, one of the most respected wine journalists and critics, selected 50 Portuguese wines to taste in Oslo on 30th October, an initiative promoted by ViniPortugal. The 50 Great Portuguese Wines by Julia Harding was held at the Grand Hotel in Oslo, and is the culmination of a project developed by this Master of Wine, which has proved a wide range of wines from the different Portuguese wine regions , for five days, to reach the final list of award-winning wines. The revelation of the winners in Norway intends to affirm the breadth and quality of the Wines of Portugal in a market characterized by the consumption of wines with low prices. During two educational seminars, Julia Harding reiterated that the 50 selected wines are “wines to savor over the afternoon in the company of friends” and “represent the fantastic depth and breadth of Portuguese wines. The fusion between distinct high-quality native grape varieties with the fantastic landscape and climate of Portugal is expressed creatively by Portuguese winegrowers. \u201cAt the end of the event, was held a wine tasting for professionals and consumers.
