The event, supported by ViniPortugal and IVV, will expose 51 watercolor paintings of the traditional Portuguese grape varieties. The Minister of Agriculture, Luis Capoulas Santos, will attend the event accompanied by Frederico Falc\u00e3o, president of the Institute of Vine and Wine, and Jorge Monteiro, ViniPortugal CEO. The 51 watercolor paintings are extremely important to the wine sector because report the splendid national patrimony and the diversity and authenticity of the Portuguese wines, a differentiating factor, internationally valued. The artist Serr\u00e3o de Faria illustrated the national viticulture splendidly, transforming the work \u201cWines with Art\u201d in an outstanding encyclopedia of Portugal. The 2nd book &#8220;Wine in Art&#8221; features 50 watercolor paintings of great beauty and technical precision, representing the top 50 grape varieties, reproduced in a limited edition of 300 copies. Serr\u00e3o de Faria devoted most of his time, from 2012, in a new challenge, painting landscapes of farms and several Portuguese wine regions. The work was completed in 2015 and is a strong milestone in the author&#8217;s route. About the artist Fern\u00e3o de Faria: Fern\u00e3o de Faria is considered the painter of Portuguese tradition. Born in February 21, 1937, in Azinhaga do Ribatejo, and became known for his artistic work as a painter of the Ribatejo countryside, its people and its traditions. One of the best international equestrian portraitists, with 18 published books and over 200 exhibitions, of which highlights a collective in Norway in 1987, with the most important painters of that country. Fern\u00e3o de Faria master already had an extensive experience with unique works of art, engraving and screen printing. When he tried the new technique, even without translation, called &#8220;Fine Art print&#8221; of exceptional quality and color fidelity, has been dedicating his talent to the preparation of other limited series of documents, addressed to equestrian and bullfighting sectors, his latest work. Even in 2015, he produced a set of drawings and watercolors, about the Portuguese School of Equestrian Art, aimed at a limited series collection, in &#8220;Fine Art print&#8221;, and the creation of a series of high quality porcelain.
