Decanter Magazine, for its special edition of November that celebrates 40 years of the magazine, had challenged 40 wine critics, including staff and contributors to pick \u201ctheir favourite wine of 2015\u201d. In this selection, Portugal totaled 5 outstanding wines ahead of Spain, New Zealand, South Africa, Chile and Argentina. Portuguese wines picked by Decanter\u2019s contributors: Michael Broadbent : Berry Bros & Rudd, produced by Noval, 20 Year Old Tawny Port. Andrew Jefford : \u201cQuinta do Vale Me\u00e3o 2012\u201d, Douro. Ch\u2019ng Poh Tiong: Quinta do Noval 2004, Douro. Richard Mayson: Ribeiro Real Boal, Lote 1, 20 anos, Barbeito, Madeira. Sarah Ahmed: Quinta dos Carvalhais, Branco Especial, D\u00e3o.
