The Portuguese wines were distinguished with 11 medals at the competition LE Mondial du Ros\u00e9<\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

The French wine ros\u00e9 competition, Le Mondial du ros\u00e9,has awarded 11 Portuguese wines. The wine Quinta de Gomariz Padeiro (2014) from Minho wine region received a Gold medal and it was the only Portuguese wine with this distinction. The Silver medals were distributed to the wine regions of Alentejo, Alentejo (3), Terras do Sado (2), Ribatejo (2) and Beiras (1). The remaining two awarded wines have no geographical indication. The Mondial du Ros\u00e9 competition , organised by the EURL and suported by OIV, intends to emphasize the maturation capacity and intrinsic qualities of the wines and to distinguish those attaining a very high quality level close to the optimum tasting expression of their appellation or origin.
