The Portuguese wines had totaled 931 medals and 21 Trophies at the International Wine Challenge, in London.<\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

The 32\u00ba edition of the International Wine Challenge distinguished 617 Portuguese wines with 60 Gold medals, 224 Silver medals and 333 Bronze medals. The most awarded wine regions were Douro and Porto with 41 Gold medals and 10 Trophies, Alentejo with 6 Gold medals and 1 Trophy Madeira with 5 gold medals and 4 Trophies. The D\u00e3o wine region also got the spotlight with 5 Gold medals and 2 Trophies. Portugal was among the most awarded countries together with France, Italy, Spain and Australia. In total, the Wines of Portugal totaled 931 medals, a significant difference in comparison with other major countries in competition as Chile, England, Germany, Argentina, Canada and the United States.
