The Top 100 Wineries of the World 2014 distinguished 9 winemakers, from several Portuguese wine regions. The Sogrape Vinhos de Portugal SA obtained the fourth place in one of the most serious and prestigious rankings of the world.<\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

Portugal stands out internationally with the distinction of 9 Portuguese winemakers in the Top 100 Wineries of the World 2014. This acknowledgement depends on the sum of the points obtained, during the all year, in the various competitions for wine only. The Sogrape Vinhos SA totaled 162 awards last year and added 3002.60 points. In this way, take the fourth place of the ranking, executed by \u2018World Association of Wine Writers and Journalists\u2019. On the top 20 of the list are still highlighted 3 Portuguese winemakers namely Casa Santos Lima Copanhia das Vinhas SA (132 awards), DFJ Vinhos SA (126 awards) and Enoport DT Produ\u00e7\u00e3o de Bebidas SA (88 awards).
