Wine critics acclaim the \u201cwine concentration and dark tannins\u201d and its combination of \u201cgreat style and great power\u201d. Most of the Portuguese wines featured in the list came from Douro region (and includes 2 Port wines): the above-mentioned Quinta do Vale Me\u00e3o 2009 Red, Quinta da Romaneira 2008 Red (27th) Taylor Fladgate Vintage Port 2009 (36th), Quinta do Crasto Reserva Old Vines 2009 (48th) 2009 Niepoort Vintage Port (75th) and Prats &amp; Symington LDA Chryseia 2009 (94th). The Alentejo region featured 3 wines in the top: Herdade do Espor\u00e3o 2008 Touriga Nacional (18th), Cartuxa 2009 P\u00eara Manca White (67th) and Lu\u00eds Duarte 2010 Rubrica White (91st). D\u00e3o wine region has one wine in the Top: Casa de Santar Conde de Santar 2009(57th). The &#8220;Top 100 Cellar Selection&#8221; from Wine Enthusiast presents the magazine favorite wines of 2012 that should lay down in the cellar awaiting for the right moment to drink. The U.S. dominates the top, with 36 wines, followed by France with 21 and Italy with 20.
