Portugal obtained an International Trophy medal at Decanter Awards

Portugal has won one international trophy medal – Sweet Fortified over £15 – at the Decanter World Wine Awards (DWWA).

The Madeira wine Barbeito, 20 Anos, Malvasia was the Sweet Fortified over £15 medal winner. The 2013 winners were announced in London during a gala dinner at the Royal Opera House. The DWWA 2013 was judged by a panel of over 200 wine merchants, sommeliers, journalists and authors from 27 countries, including 75 Masters of Wine and 13 Master Sommeliers. The DWWA 2013 results are available online at Decanter’s website.
