A good wine service by the glass depends on who provides it… but also on the consumer’s demands.
The right choice of glasses
The glasses to be used for serving wine by the glass follow the same parameters as for serving wine by the bottle.
The right amount
The amount to pour into each glass is ideally 1/5 of a 750 ml bottle, so each serving is 150 ml.
Identify a good restaurant by the glass
ViniPortugal conducts monthly evaluations of wine-by-the-glass service in Portuguese restaurants, wine shops, bars, and wine bars.
The ideal temperature
Depending on the style and age of each wine, the correct temperature must be adjusted.
