Next Friday, 29th of May, starting at 6.30 pm, at Wines of Portugal Tasting Room, Porto

The wines from Península de Setúbal wine region will be highlighted next Friday, 29th of May, at 6.30pm, at Palácio da Bolsa in Porto. The wine tasting is inserted into the theme of the Wines of Portugal diversity and is organized together with the Wine Commission of Península de Setúbal. The wine tasting will provide Portuguese wines produced from indigenous grape varieties. Much of the area of the Península de Setúbal wine region is flat and sandy, with the exception of the Serra da Arrábida, a short chain of mountains running along the south coast of the peninsula. The Vinho Regional was recently renamed Península de Setúbal. There are two DOCs, Setúbal and Palmela and IG Península de Setúbal, with the name “Setúbal” reserved for Moscatel of Setúbal wines and Moscatel Roxo.
