Founded in 1996, ViniPortugal is the Interprofessional Organisation of Portuguese Wine, recognised by order of the Ministry of Agriculture, and is the managing entity of the Wines of Portugal brand. Its mission is to promote the quality and excellence of Portuguese wines.

The 5th Edition of the Polish wine competition held as done as part of Enoexpo 2013 awarded more than 40 Portuguese wines.

The competition received 76 applications of Portuguese wines this year and the results can be found here.
