ViniPortugal is a socially responsible organisation in many different ways, adhering to best practices and striving for a fairer and more environmentally friendly society.
As Portugal's Interprofessional Wine Organisation, ViniPortugal aims to assert itself through:
Respect for human rights, complying with international legislation on labour, protection of minors and gender non-discrimination
Environmental preservation and advocacy for best environmental practices
Moderate and responsible consumption, as a signatory to the ‘Wine in Moderation’ programme

In order to enjoy the best that wine has to offer, “avoid excess”. Follow the guidelines for moderate and responsible wine consumption.
"Wine in Moderation" is the European program that aims to promote responsibility and moderation in wine consumption.
It positions wine as a product of excellence, to be enjoyed calmly and in moderation. It aims to educate stakeholders and the public about the social and health risks of excessive consumption and misuse of alcohol, while encouraging a cultural shift in the approach to consumption, making moderation fashionable.
